Whether it’s a street bike day, long-distance ride or single-track weekend in the woods: the new Touratech helmet Aventuro Carbon satisfies every demand. With a unique combination of multiple features, lots of practical details and a concept that perfectly combines lightness and safety, the Aventuro Carbon is the ultimate helmet for touring and adventure riding. Not only the motorbike but also the equipment has to satisfy all kinds of requirements on a journey: changing climate zones and different weather, strenuous off-road stretches and high-speed motorway runs. That's why the Touratech helmet is multi-functional like the Compañero range of motorcycle suits. Its modular design makes the Aventuro Carbon an airy cross helmet, universal enduro helmet and comfortable full-face helmet in one, and it can be completely transformed without tools in no time at all. Whether to use only the shield, only the full-face visor, or both, is up to the rider – not the manufacturer. Because what proves to be effective protection off-road against mud sprays and flying stones, soon turns out to be an aerodynamic nightmare on the motorway, with painful consequences for the neck muscles. The impetus to develop a new helmet came from the experiences of Touratech founder Herbert Schwarz, who has taken motorcycles to the four corners of the world over the last three decades and more. Always looking for the perfect solution, it was his aim to develop a helmet that is more than just a compromise, and which offers maximum comfort and absolute safety under all conditions. To make this happen, Touratech teamed up with one of the most innovative, multiple Red Dot Award winning helmet manufacturers in the EU.The aerodynamically optimized helmet shell is made of high-strength carbon-fibre laminate, and meets both the European standard ECE 22.05 and the U.S. DOT specification. The helmet also features an emergency cheek pad release system so that the helmet is easier to remove after an accident. The extra-large view port is great for glasses wearers too, and the interior is anatomically shaped. Maximum ventilation with five adjustable and closable inlets on the chin, forehead and top of the head, four outlets on the cheeks and neck, and optimized air channels in the foam lining for maximum heat dissipation make the helmet extremely comfortable to wear. Not only the visor – which of course has an anti-fog coating – but also all other movable parts are designed so that they can be operated even while wearing thick gloves. The many well-thought-out details include the sweat-resistant, hypoallergenic inner lining with Coolmax, completely removable and washable pads, leather trim and reflective strip on the neck pad, a detachable wind guard on the chin, the extra-long chin strap with robust double D-ring closure, and a goggle strap holder on the back of the head. There are replaceable side covers for installing diverse accessories such as cameras or quick-release straps, and recesses by the ears to make it as easy as possible to use state-of-the-art communication systems.Even with so much functionality, the Aventuro Carbon is visually appealing as well: its innovative design with typical Touratech edges both looks good and improves aerodynamics. The new Touratech helmet is now available in sizes XS to XXL, and in five different finishes: Touratech Aventuro carbon "Core": carbon with clear varnish.Touratech Aventuro carbon "Sky": white lacquered without graphic.Touratech Aventuro carbon "Compañero": decor yellow/grey/black with exposed carbon areas.Touratech Aventuro carbon "Rallye": decor white-yellow with exposed carbon areas.Touratech Aventuro carbon "Vision": decor neon yellow with exposed carbon areas.
