Some people think they know all about the BMW because they have some, others interpret BMW motorcycles for the spirit they emanate. This is the case of Brandon Mungai and his workshop "Bavarian Cafè" Costa Mesa, California, USA, who reinterprets old motorcycles transforming them into Cafe Racer without upsetting them, let's say with a "purist" touch. And this is the case of this R100S of 1983, with over 30 years of life under its tires, re-interpreted by Brandon in homage to the BMW M3 Laguna Seca Blue. The engine has been fully revised, and the clutch, valves and gaskets built anew. The dual exhaust system has been replaced by Hoske silencers, the brake discs updated with Brembo ones and front and rear Hagon shocks. The "snowflake" rims have been restored and powder-coated and a new set of Bridgestone BT45 tyres installed. The stylistic Cafe Racer changes have been completed with the addition of a BMW Giuliari Sport reproduction saddle imported from Germany, a Flatracer Cafe Racer fairing and BMW stock, finally tank and fenders painted with a livery reminiscent of the BMW M3 Laguna Seca Blue. What's more to say, just look at the results!
