Do you remember Fabio and Anna (the famous small ballast -in the italian version of the article-who described the traveler's life through the back passenger's eyes)? Well, this pair of Italian travelers, able to grind thousands of miles traveling around the world, on the 11th November went back on saddle of their bike for the initiative "Latin America Charity Report".An on the road trip of 25,000 km, which will see them ride along the streets of South America: Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay to end up in the colorful Brazil.A new Charity Report to support and tell about the six cooperation projects supported by Mediafriends, a 5/6 months journey to discover the reality of the NGOs supported, to raise funds and to convey these worlds.The NGOs and the projects to visit are the following:• ASM. Region of Esmeraldas, Ecuador. Inauguration of the new maternity ward in an area where infant mortality rates are among the highest of the world.• CESVI. Lima, Peru. A project to defend Latin communities, to protect the environment in the heart of the Amazon forest.• ACRA. Cairoma District, Bolivia. Eco-sustainable project that involves the construction of gravity aqueducts and restore old Inca channels.• 4PLANET. District of Salta, Argentina. Projects for the protection and conservation of tropical forests threatened by deforestation and degradation.• OLIVOTTI. Asuncion, Paraguay. Project "Food for Work", to create a structure to provide free meals to the needy children of the city and their families, a training center in the food service business and a serie of activities to promote the culture of a proper nutrition.• CESVI. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The House of Smiles is a place of socialization where Cesvi promotes the value of education, culture and citizenship among children and young people.Here they are then, Fabio and Anna, a little bit like Ernesto Guevara and Alberto Granado, traveling on their motorcycle through ancient ruins, deserts, climbing the Andean cordillera, between breathtaking landscapes, colors, dances and cheerfulness.For Fabio and Anna the bike is always the same, the amazing BMW F800 GS ADV version, already tested for more than 6,000 km. It is a comfortable bike, lighter and more reliable on hard paths.
