This 1973 BMW R60/5 "Copper", a former police bike, has been created by the "Dream Wheels Heritage" team, Hélder Moura and Jose Miguel Martins (Portugal). The bike's subframe is handmade and all the welds were hidden giving it the appearance of one single piece. The saddle and the inserts in the tank's recesses have the same leather. The front brakes come from a VTR 1000 Honda, the headlight is an old 50s modified fog light. The black 18-inch wheels with Firestone Deluxe Champion tires, bring out the copper inserts. The 600cc boxer engine has been fully revised and Bing carburettors of a R100 have been mounted, the dual exhaust system has been replaced with a two-in-one and, also in this case, details have been added in copper plated color. To be the Dream Wheels Heritage's team No. 1, the result is excellent.
